Malaysian ID cards
About more than a year ago, the world was shocked
with the Taliban requiring non-Moslems to wear
a yellow stripe on their pocket to indicate
that they are not Moslem. Did you know that
in many ways the Malaysian government is doing
the same thing?
The Malaysian Government has always required
their citizens and permanent residents to carry
an identity card. Believe it or not, this identity
card has been used to make sure the people who
are suppose to be Moslem by the Malaysian laws
remain Moslem. Who is required to be Moslem
by the Malaysian laws? Anybody who is from the
Malay ethnic background is required to be Moslem.
It has always been that the Malays or people
who have Malay blood usually have a Bin or Binti
between their names and fathers name on
their cards. But there are exceptions such as
when the persons name is way too long,
they just cut out the Bin or Binti. As for non-Malays
who have similar features as Malays in terms
of looks, the letter K is indicated on their
identity cards. Perhaps this means Kafir
which means infidel. Perhaps, this is so that
the authorities do not mistaken them for Malays.
The whole purpose of all this is so that the
government can impose Syariah Laws on the Malays!
But they havent made it obvious until
recently.
Recently, the Malaysian government introduced
a new high tech identity card. The most shocking
thing is that a person religion is indicated
on the card! Please view the picture of a sample
of the card below.
