Testimony
It was a hard struggle. I had
been raised in a religious family, but any
question about religion was countered with
an admonition not to ask such questions. The
injustice I saw around me spurred the need
to find why, if Islam was the true religion
and Allah was "the Beneficent, the Merciful",
there could be so much suffering and injustice
because of God's will?
Thus began the quest
to look for "the
other view" on Islam. It wasn't long before
the chink I had in the wall of the intellectual
prison Islam had placed me in became a huge
gap and, with more reading and more research,
the walls tumbled down altogether. I feel free
and proud to be free of the idiocy of Islam.
